This track is special to me. in a lot of ways. it happened in a strange period of my life, a time when I felt directionless. A time when my life felt futile. This song is the first one on the album I made. It was the first time I'd ever tried making my own synths and my own sounds. the first time a composition just fell together like the perfect game of tetris. on that one cold April night in Dan's basement, a few hours before the submission deadline for my music portfolio to college. It happened in a flash and i barely remember any of it, except for the true satisfaction of making something that I was proud of. All artists hate their own art. nobody is more critical of us than ourselves, so for the first time in my life to have made something with my own two hands that I not only liked, but loved? That's the first moment in my life I truly felt like a musician.
also the left-right sweepy thingy is pretty neat.
